Jann and I headed north up the river this morning. Along the way we stopped very briefly to take a few photos of this pair of eagles. It appears that one is standing on the nest while the other is standing guard. Perhaps this is the year.
The male on the right is most likely the nestling that was banded at the Vernon Dam in 2004. Part of its band numbers can be read on the full size version of this photo.
