Venice can be very crowded with tourists.

I’m guessing most come from huge cruise ships.

There was a very long line waiting to enter Saint Mark’s Basilica. It stretched from the front at the far left in the photo below all the way to the end of the building corner to the right of center.

But there were less crowded parts of the city. 

The photo below was taken high up in the Campanile bell tower. This is where I was when I took the photo of the many cruise ships above.

Here are two couples photographing a colorful wall.

Here are quite a lot of photos of people whom I suspect were tourists rather than residents. And who is that guy with the scruffy beard and a green ice cream cone?
