It is hard to definitively tell who is a resident of Venice and who is a tourist, but in most cases it seems pretty clear. On this page I made guesses and believe most of the people featured actually live in Venice.

For example, I assume that women carrying grocery bags are most likely to be residents.

And the hard-working street cleaners are most likely natives, of at least the area. But Stephen in the background is definitely a tourist. He is taking turns with me waiting with my bag for our AirBnB host who was over an hour late meeting us, perhaps due to a misunderstanding.

These two also likely live in Venice.
