When one thinks of Venice, gondolas immediately come to mind. Being there one realizes they are now mostly or exclusively a tourist attraction. That is fine as they are still fun to photograph.   

In some spots gondolas are lined up side by side waiting for passengers.

Some people ride elegantly dressed.

While others are more casual.

Most people take photos with their phones while riding.

Some use it as an excuse to take a nap after the long walk to the gondola station.

At times the narrow channels can get crowded.
