I pulled into a side road at the Pompy area in Norwich, VT only to see a very large bird leaving from high in a tree above the road.  I rolled down my window, grabbed the camera that was on the seat next to me all ready to go, and got some photos as an immature eagle circled the broad river mouth river before landing on the far side.  I believe it is a second year bird. Here is a sequence of 17 shots.
