Sunapee, May 30

I took a leisurely walk around Sunapee yesterday, covering perhaps 4 miles in a bit over 2 hours. I photographed whatever stuck my fancy.

Although most of the photos might be called “nature” or “scenics”, it was interesting how much humor I found: a plastic boat docked on a fence, a headless woman, a body-less head, a plant growing out of a boat, a chimney without a home, a Saint Bernard sticking its tongue out at me, a flying pig, abandoned lathes at the edge of a forest, a “swamp” along one of the most prestigious streets in town, and a realtor selling a home with a “CAUTION Falling Ice” sign prominently displayed.

Here are some of the photos I took in Sunapee, NH, May 30, 2014. The bird in the slide show below is a pine warbler.
