Bicknell Brook with UVLT

I made my second trip of the young new year to Bicknell Brook—this time to hike the Colette Trail that runs along the brook with a small group. The hike was led by Roger Hanlon of the UVLT. The water in the brook was much less visible than 10 days previously. I didn’t bring a tripod but I made several handheld panoramic images. You can view them by clicking HERE. And you can explore  the ones I made earlier this month by clicking HERE.  Panoramic images of Bicknell Brook taken in earlier years are HERE.

Here are some photos I took during the walk on a very beautiful winter day.

Bicknell Brook in early winter

I spent a few very pleasant hours recently at the UVLT Bicknell Brook area in Enfield. My favorite direction to head from Boy’s Camp Road is downstream—the water is more dramatic in that direction. I immediately got enthused about creating a panoramic image of the falls. The photo below is composed of 61 individual images. Of course, you can’t really see details here, but if you click the image you will be taken to a page with this and other pans taken the same day. You will then be able to zoom in and explore the images in detail.

Here is a slide show of some of the photos I took while enjoying my hike both downstream and upstream.
