Here is the harbor early morning Labor Day Weekend before the tourists woke up.
There are a nice set of waterfalls a short distance from the harbor itself. Some photographers might be unhappy when a person comes and sits in their photo, but to me the human subject adds much to many images.
Looking upstream from the previous image, the old Hames factory building can be seen. A hame, made of wood or metal, is the curved part of a harness that fits around the neck of a draft animal and to which the traces (or lines) are attached.
