I’d been seeing so many great photos of a Horned Grebe hanging around the Pompy area of Norwich, VT that I finally dropped my projects and made a quick trip this morning. I got lucky. The light was good, the grebe was on the correct side of the road dividing the two pieces of water, and, for a short, while it was close enough for decent photos. The metadata on my camera tells me I spent 150 seconds with it before it moved too far away to photograph. Here are three photos I captured.
