The people of Manang, especially the children, were friendly and cheerful. They live amid great beauty—the views from the city of the Annapurna range are spectacular. The older part of town has amazing stonework that mirrors the harsh living conditions. Hiking around the town on our rest day I was able to make the photos you see here.
